My mother used to tell me that I loved to play in the dirt. Once I got my hands in clay I knew I had found a life–long love. I took ceramics in school at every available level. The earth is my supplier both in expression, evident in my likeness for animals, and in form.

When I’m commissioned to do a piece, we are partners in the endeavor: your general idea shaped by my vision. I have been gifted with expression—through my hands and body interacting with the clay—of the mystery that arises from breathing my vision into existence.
